Overview
The Zebra DS3678-DPA is a cordless ultra-rugged handheld scanner from the DS3600 Series, built for direct part marking (DPM) work in automotive, aerospace, electronics and general manufacturing. It suits maintenance, quality assurance, product authentication, lifetime identification (UID) and track-and-trace applications.
The DPA version is optimised to read both DPM codes and wide 1D barcodes, which suits automotive, aeronautics and factory-automation lines that need end-to-end traceability. With Network Connect for Automation the scanner can talk to PLCs over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET or Modbus TCP without third-party converters. The cordless model pairs with a Bluetooth cradle and a PowerPrecision+ 3,100 mAh battery rated for more than 100,000 scans per charge.
