Overview
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9630-DPX is part of the PowerScan 9600 DPX Series, Datalogic's industrial handheld scanners for Direct Part Marking (DPM) and label-based codes. It targets traceability in automotive, aerospace, tyre and electronics manufacturing, and tracking of medical devices in hospitals.
Its DPX 4D autolearning system uses multizone time-of-flight and RGB sensors to measure the target's material, inclination and reflectance in real time, then sets the acquisition parameters and decoding algorithms automatically. This cuts missed reads on damaged codes and difficult colour backgrounds. The corded PD9630-DPX is a USB/RS-232 multi-interface model, supplied as scanner only or in USB and RS-232 kits.
