Overview
The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9600-DPX is part of the PowerScan 9600 DPX Series, Datalogic's industrial handheld scanners for Direct Part Marking (DPM) and label-based codes. It targets traceability in automotive, aerospace, tyre and electronics manufacturing, and tracking of medical devices in hospitals.
Its DPX 4D autolearning system uses multizone time-of-flight and RGB sensors to measure the target's material, inclination and reflectance in real time, then sets the acquisition parameters and decoding algorithms automatically. This cuts missed reads on damaged codes and difficult colour backgrounds. The PBT9600-DPX is a Bluetooth 5.0 cordless model with a removable smart battery and wireless charging, supplied with BC9630-BT (USB/RS-232) or BC9680-BT (Ethernet) cradles.
