Overview
The Zebra DS3678-DP is a cordless ultra-rugged handheld scanner from the DS3600 Series, built for direct part marking (DPM) work in automotive, aerospace, electronics and general manufacturing. It suits maintenance, quality assurance, product authentication, lifetime identification (UID) and track-and-trace applications.
Zebra designs the DP model to capture virtually every type of direct part mark, including low-contrast marks and marks on shiny, reflective surfaces, as well as damaged, dirty or shrink-wrapped 1D and 2D labels. Direct, diffuse and glancing illumination modes handle curved and reflective parts. The cordless model pairs with a Bluetooth cradle and a PowerPrecision+ 3,100 mAh battery rated for more than 100,000 scans per charge.
