Overview
The Zebra DS3608-DPX is a corded ultra-rugged handheld scanner from the DS3600 Series, built for direct part marking (DPM) work in automotive, aerospace, electronics and general manufacturing. It suits maintenance, quality assurance, product authentication, lifetime identification (UID) and track-and-trace applications.
The DPX version is tuned for clean laser-etched direct part marks on matte-finished surfaces, and also reads dot peen, ink, chemical etch, inkjet mold, cast and thermal spray marks along with printed 1D and 2D barcodes. The corded model runs from host power and operates from -30 °C to 50 °C.
