Overview
The Zebra DS3608-DPA is a corded ultra-rugged handheld scanner from the DS3600 Series, built for direct part marking (DPM) work in automotive, aerospace, electronics and general manufacturing. It suits maintenance, quality assurance, product authentication, lifetime identification (UID) and track-and-trace applications.
The DPA version is optimised to read both DPM codes and wide 1D barcodes, which suits automotive, aeronautics and factory-automation lines that need end-to-end traceability. With Network Connect for Automation the scanner can talk to PLCs over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET or Modbus TCP without third-party converters. The corded model runs from host power and operates from -30 °C to 50 °C.
