Overview
The Newland FM3281 Grouper is an outdoor-ready fixed scanner for outdoor kiosks and self-service points, with glare reduction and IP67 protection. One version adds full NFC card reading.
It uses a 1280 x 1088 CMOS imager with glare reduction, reads EAN-13 from 0 to 290 mm, and supports passport and ID OCR. Interfaces include RS-232, USB, RS-485 and Wiegand, with 5–24 V DC input. The NFC version reads cards and NFC phones at 0–30 mm. It is IP67 sealed.
