Overview
The Datalogic Gryphon 4500 Fixed Series is a compact fixed-mount 2D scan module for kiosks, self-service, access control gates, medical analysers and OEM machine builders. The housed GFS4500 fits into any enclosure using multiple fixing points; an unhoused GFE4500 version is also offered.
A megapixel sensor with red or white illumination and high motion tolerance reads 1D and 2D codes, including on phone screens, with a loud beep and Green Spot feedback. It is IP54 sealed with a UV-resistant window for outdoor use. USB-only (micro-USB with locking clip), RS-232 and USB + RS-232 models are available, the latter two taking 5–14 VDC; the RS-232 model adds programmable digital I/O. Datalogic offers a 5-year factory warranty.
