Overview
The Datalogic AV7000 is a high-performance linear camera for package identification on conveyors, tilt trays and cross-belt sorters in distribution centres and courier, express and parcel hubs. It reads challenging 1D and 2D barcodes and supports OCR, HazMat identification and package analytics.
The AV7000 8K uses an 8,000-pixel CMOS sensor for conveyors up to 1200 mm wide; the AV7000 12K has 50% more pixels, reads high-density codes down to 6 mil and covers conveyors up to 1600 mm wide. Both have patented autofocus, digital zoom for constant DPI, a Pulsed Lighting System that halves system footprint, a browser-based interface and redundant architecture.
