The Datalogic AV500 and AV900 are high-performance industrial 2D imagers for attended and unattended data capture. The AV500 has a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor capturing 32 frames per second with dynamic or adjustable focus and several lenses, suiting smart-track logistics, baggage handling and retail distribution, plus operator-attended overhead scanning.
The AV900 uses a 9 MP CMOS sensor, giving about 60% more coverage than 5 MP cameras — three AV900s can cover what five 5 MP cameras do. It captures HD images up to 32 frames per second for video coding and OCR, and Datalogic's PackTrack keeps reads correctly assigned even with small gaps between items.
