Overview
The Datalogic Magellan 3700HSi is a horizontal single-plane scanner for attended checkout lanes and open counters, where its flat form factor keeps counters clean and leaves room for promotional products. Datalogic quotes 25% higher 2D throughput than the previous generation with strong motion tolerance.
An integrated UHF RFID antenna allows hybrid barcode and RFID reading, and selected models add on-glass colour image capture and a 1 MP colour video camera for loss prevention with external software. OCR and GS1 Digital Link are supported. It uses 1.2 W and 85% TÜV-certified recycled plastics. Models include the 3710HSi, 3750HSi and 3770HSi with sapphire or tin oxide platters.
