Overview
The SATO S84NX is a 4-inch OEM print engine for high-volume print-and-apply labelling in factories and warehouses. It is available in 203, 305 and 609 dpi, prints at up to 16 ips, and has greater resistance to water, dust and solvents than earlier SATO print engines. (The RFID version is listed separately.)
Larger hinges, an aluminium-framed print mechanism and an improved roller assembly suit heavy duty use, with tool-less print head replacement. USB, RS-232C, Ethernet and an EXT signal interface are standard, with optional wireless LAN. SATO AEP lets it print directly from a PLC or weigh scale, and SATO Online Services helps cut downtime.
