Overview

The SATO LT408 is an economical 4-inch print engine for print-and-apply systems, printing at 203 dpi and up to 6 ips with a print area of up to 104 x 1249 mm. Right-hand and left-hand models and a modular design make it easy to integrate with a range of applicators.

It has a large icon-driven LCD, a quick-change print head, a bi-directional ribbon drive and plug-in interface cards (RS-232C, IEEE1284, USB, LAN and wireless LAN). It uses SATO's SBPL programming language, and a linerless kit and calendar IC are optional.
