Overview
The Newland HR2081 is a cost-effective corded handheld scanner that gives 2D capability at the price of a 1D scanner, for everyday retail and office scanning.
Its CPU-based decoder reads high-density, damaged and on-screen barcodes using a 640 x 480 CMOS imager with white LED illumination and red LED aimer, with EAN-13 range of 50 to 260 mm. It connects by RS-232 or USB, weighs 111 g, is IP42 sealed and rated for 1.2 m drops.
