Overview
The CipherLab 2506 is a plug-and-play handheld DPM (direct part marking) scanner for manufacturing, electronics repair and component assembly. It reads laser-etched, dot-peen and low-contrast marks for part traceability.
A 1.3 MP sensor decodes 3 mil 1D and 5 mil 2D codes down to 20% PCS at 65 scans per second. At 166 g it is light for an industrial scanner, has an ESD-protective housing, IP54 sealing and 1.5 m drop resistance, and connects over USB or RS232 with an optional adjustable stand.
