Overview
The Newland FR80 Salmon is an on-counter presentation scanner for busy supermarket and retail checkouts where shoppers expect fast transactions.
It uses a 1280 x 1088 CMOS imager with a large scan window, tolerates motion up to 3.5 m/s, reads EAN-13 from 0 to 140 mm, and uses active sensors to prevent double reads. Advanced Scripting is supported. It connects via RS-232 or USB and is IP52 sealed.
