Overview
The Newland FR42 is a corded desktop presentation scanner for retail counters, payment points and ticket checks.
An IR sensor triggers scanning when a barcode is presented, and it reads 1D and high-volume 2D codes from paper and phone screens, even with protective film. It has a 640 x 480 CMOS imager, a large field of view (62° x 48°), 2 m/s motion tolerance and USB interface. It weighs 246 g, is IP52 sealed and rated for 1.5 m drops.
