The Honeywell Voyager 1200g is a corded single-line laser barcode scanner built on Honeywell's Voyager platform. It reads virtually all linear (1D) barcodes and does a good job on poorly printed, smudged and damaged labels, which makes it a dependable choice for retail counters, offices and light-duty stock work.
It supports USB, keyboard wedge and RS-232 interfaces in one unit with automatic interface detection. With the stand it switches to hands-free presentation scanning using object detection and automatic in-stand detection, and CodeGate lets the user make sure the right barcode is scanned before data is sent, which suits menu scanning.
