Overview
The Honeywell Orbit 7190g combines the proven 20-line omnidirectional laser of the Orbit series with an area imager in one presentation scanner. Cashiers get fast pass-through scanning of merchandise barcodes, while the imager reads 1D, 2D and PDF codes on customers' smartphones, coupons and ID cards.
Dual working modes optimise it for cashier scanning and for customer-presented digital codes, so no second scanner is needed. Automatic interface detection configures it on connection, the award-winning shape allows handheld scanning of bulky items, and the head tilts 30°. It supports keyboard wedge, RS-232, RS-485 and USB, and carries a 3-year warranty.
