Overview
The Honeywell Orbit 7120 is a hands-free omnidirectional laser scanner from the Orbit series, which Honeywell calls the all-time best-selling hands-free omnidirectional scanner. Its compact, award-winning design suits convenience retail where counter space is tight.
A 20-line omnidirectional scan pattern and an engineered "sweet spot" give high first-pass read rates on 1D barcodes, and the scan head tilts 30° for larger items. Firmware can be updated free with MetroSet 2 software. It supports keyboard wedge, RS-232, RS-485 and USB, and carries a 3-year warranty.
