Overview
The Honeywell Granit XP 1990iSR is an ultra-rugged corded 1D/2D scanner for warehouses, distribution centres and factories where scanners get dropped, knocked and exposed to dust and moisture. The SR (standard range) model is meant for normal near-field scanning, and its Extreme Performance imaging reads damaged and low-quality labels quickly.
It is built for 3 m (10 ft) drops, 7,000 tumbles from 1 m, operating temperatures from -30°C to 50°C and IP65/IP67 sealing. It has a 1280 x 800 area imager, motion tolerance up to 4,500 mm/s and supports keyboard wedge, RS-232 TTL and USB. Honeywell Scanner Management Utility (SMU) automates deployment and updates. Warranty is three years.
