Overview
The Honeywell Genesis XP 7680g is a compact hands-free presentation scanner for retail and healthcare counters. It uses Honeywell's Extreme Performance (XP) scanning, which Honeywell says is 20% faster with a larger scan area than previous models, and reads poorly printed and damaged barcodes and phone screens easily.
A 360° colour LED ring guides staff and customers, warm-white illumination is easy on the eyes, and object detection switches the light off between scans. It has a 1280 x 800 imager, 400 cm/s motion tolerance, an adjustable stand and wall/POS mounting accessories, and a disinfectant-ready housing in black or white. It supports USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge and IBM 46xx, is rated IP52 and has a 3-year warranty.
