Overview
The Epson ColorWorks C6550A is a 8-inch (211.9 mm maximum print width) industrial colour label printer with a built-in auto cutter. It is meant for manufacturers, chemical and GHS labelling, and product labelling lines that need durable full-colour labels printed on demand.
It prints at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi with a PrecisionCore TFP printhead and UltraChrome DL pigment inks that are BS 5609 certified for GHS labels. It accepts ZPL II commands, works with SAP and legacy systems, and connects over USB and Ethernet. The auto cutter can cut each label individually or after a set number of prints or at the end of a batch.
