Overview
The SATO WS2 (WS208 at 203 dpi and WS212 at 300 dpi) is a compact 2-inch direct thermal printer designed for healthcare. SATO describes it as the first disinfectant-ready label printer with an anti-microbial casing, printing both patient ID wristbands and inpatient labels.
It prints at up to 7 ips (203 dpi) and supports SZPL, SEPL and SDPL languages for easy replacement of existing printers. USB and Fast Ethernet are standard, with optional WLAN, and the WS2 printer utility lets staff configure local or networked printers.
