Overview
The SATO CG4 series (CG408 at 203 dpi and CG412 at 305 dpi) is a 4-inch desktop barcode printer for retail price and shelf labels, small-batch product labels, shipping labels and office use. It comes in direct thermal and thermal transfer versions and takes label rolls up to 128 mm outer diameter.
The CG4 is offered with USB plus RS-232C, LAN or IEEE1284, and supports a cutter, dispenser, real-time clock, unwinder and keypad as options. Like the CG2, it has a tool-less platen roller and a printer-language set that lets it replace competing desktop models with little re-programming.
