Overview
The SATO CG2 series (CG208 at 203 dpi and CG212 at 305 dpi) is a compact 2-inch desktop barcode printer offered in direct thermal and thermal transfer versions. Its anti-microbial casing makes it suitable for hospitals and clean processing areas, and it prints small 2D codes and patient photos on wristbands, specimen labels, price tags and small product labels.
Media loads in three steps ("Drop-Load-Go"), and the print head and platen roller can be replaced without tools. USB is standard, paired with either RS-232C or LAN, and an external wireless LAN option is available. The optional CG2 keypad lets users store and print label formats without a PC.
