Overview
Mynds RFID Shield Protective Film protects against data theft and payment fraud by creating a shielded area around an RFID chip, blocking the energy needed to power and communicate with contactless smart cards, passports, enhanced driving licences and transit cards.
Shielding is tested at the most common RFID frequencies: 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, 433 MHz and 868 MHz. The film can be customised and used as a cover or lining. Widely used by the leather industry to line RFID-blocking wallets, card holders, passport covers, bags and jackets.
