Overview
The Newland WD4 Ring Scanner sits on the finger and pairs with a host device for hands-free scanning in picking, sorting and packing.
It has a 640 x 480 CMOS imager with red LED aimer, reads EAN-13 from 55 to 280 mm, and connects over Bluetooth 5.0 up to 40 m. Its rotating head adapts to left or right hand, and up to four charging cradles can be daisy-chained. A 670 mAh battery powers it. It weighs 48 g, is IP42 rated and rated for 1.2 m drops.
