Overview
The Newland WD3 is a feather-light badge scanner that can be used on its own or worn on a lanyard, suiting retail floor staff, healthcare workers and pickers.
It has a 1280 x 800 megapixel imager with a red laser cross aimer, reads EAN-13 from 65 to 550 mm, connects over Bluetooth 5.0 (BLE and HID) up to 30 m and can store scans in batch mode when offline. It has a 300 mAh battery, weighs 53 g, is IP65 sealed and rated for 1.2 m drops.
