Overview
The Newland URF520 Solea is a fixed UHF RFID reader for enterprise and industrial use such as logistics portals, retail and warehouse read points.
It is powered by the Impinj E710 chip and supports up to four external antennas through TNC ports with antenna detection. It reads at 900 tags per second or more and over 14 m outdoors (8 dBi antenna, ALN9740 tag), with output adjustable from 5 to 33 dBm. Interfaces are RS-232, RJ-45, USB-B and RS-485, and it runs from a DC adapter, PoE or PoE+. The housing is IP53 rated with built-in mounting points.
