Overview
The Newland BS80 Piranha II 2D is a small pocket barcode scanner (88 x 46 x 24.5 mm) that staff can carry all day for stock checks, deliveries and retail floor work.
It uses a 1280 x 800 megapixel CMOS imager with laser aimer to read 1D and 2D barcodes, connects over Bluetooth (compatible with 4.0/3.0/2.1+EDR) up to 50 m, and stores thousands of barcodes in batch mode. A 900 mAh battery gives about 5 hours of continuous operation and charges over USB-C. It weighs 63 g, is IP42 rated and rated for 1.2 m drops.
