Overview
The Honeywell Xenon XP 1952g-BF is a cordless Bluetooth 1D/2D area-imaging scanner powered by supercapacitors instead of a battery. It removes battery maintenance and replacement while keeping the premium scan performance of the Xenon XP family.
A full charge takes under two minutes over standard USB and under 30 seconds with powered USB or an external power supply, and typically gives more than 450 UPC/EAN scans. When placed in the base, the ready-to-scan LED usually flashes within 20 seconds, giving enough power for over 100 scans. Two configurable recharge alerts remind operators to dock it. It has a 1280 x 800 imager, Bluetooth 4.2 (Class 2, 10 m), supports IBM 46xx (RS-485), keyboard wedge, RS-232 and USB, and is rated IP52 with a 3-year warranty.
