Overview
The Honeywell Xenon Ultra 1962g is the cordless Bluetooth model of the Xenon Ultra family, Honeywell's premium next-generation general-purpose scanners. It gives fast, accurate reading of damaged and poor-quality barcodes for retail POS, self-checkout, inventory, assembly lines and component tracking.
A green-dot LED aimer improves targeting and warm-white illumination enhances print contrast down to 15%, so ultra-high-density codes as small as 2 mil can be read. It uses Bluetooth 4.2 with adaptive frequency hopping, gives up to 80,000 scans per charge with the standard battery (a battery-free supercapacitor option is also listed), and has 4 m/s motion tolerance. It is rated for 2,000 tumbles at 0.5 m and 50 drops from 1.8 m, IP52, with a 3-year scanner warranty.
