Overview
The Honeywell Xenon DPM 1972 is the cordless model of the Xenon DPM handheld scanner, purpose-built for direct part marking (DPM) in electronics assembly, light manufacturing and automotive plants. It reads low-contrast marks, curved or reflective surfaces, complex backgrounds and high-density codes reliably.
Dual white and diffused blue illumination improves reading on tightly curved, metallic and reflective parts. HD (High Definition) and UD (Ultra Definition) variants decode 1D and 2D codes down to 2 mil, for PCB tracking, component traceability and automotive part identification.
