The Honeywell ScanPal EDA52 Healthcare is a version of the EDA52 for hospital work such as patient data collection, staff collaboration, supply chain and nursing workflows. Its housing and connectors are designed for frequent cleaning with disinfectants.
It runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 2.0 GHz processor with 3 GB/32 GB or 4 GB/64 GB memory, a 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 5 screen and the Honeywell N3601 imager. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and 4G LTE (nano-SIM plus eSIM) are supported, and it pairs with Honeywell IH25/IH40 RFID readers. The 4,500 mAh battery is removable, and the device is IP67 sealed.
