Overview
The Datalogic PowerScan 9600 RFID Series is an industrial handheld that combines barcode reading with UHF RFID in a single rugged, cordless Bluetooth device. It is designed for retail, transportation and logistics, manufacturing and healthcare, removing the need for separate barcode and RFID readers.
The RFID engine reads and writes tags up to 1 m / 3.2 ft away, with configurable range. Two versions are offered: Standard Range, and Document Capture with dual camera for colour images, OLED display and 16-key keypad. It supports wireless charging and smart batteries, 10M+ trigger pulls, and connects through modular cradles (USB, RS-232, Ethernet and more). Datalogic lists it as available in North America and Europe.
