Overview
The CipherLab RS38H is the healthcare version of the RS38, built for nurses, clinicians and home-care staff who need fast access to records, patient wristband scanning and specimen or medication tracking. Its housing and connectors are designed to withstand frequent cleaning with disinfectants.
It uses a Qualcomm QCM4490 octa-core CPU with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, Android 13 (upgradable to Android 15), 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and CBRS support, an SE4720 1D/2D imager, NFC and a 6-inch 630-nit Gorilla Glass display. It is IP65/IP68 rated and tested for 1.5 m drops.
