Overview
The CipherLab RS36 is a rugged all-touch mobile computer and the successor to the RS35. It is aimed at retail, transportation, logistics and warehousing staff who need barcode scanning, NFC and a camera in a pocketable, sealed device.
It runs Android 12 or 14 (GMS, AER) on a Qualcomm octa-core 2 GHz CPU with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. A standard or advanced-range 1D/2D imager, HF RFID/NFC, OCR software, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and 4G LTE are available, and an optional UHF RFID reader can be attached. The 5.5-inch 630-nit screen works with gloves, and hot-swappable 4000 or 6000 mAh batteries cover a full shift.
