Overview
The CipherLab 8000 Series are pocket-size batch mobile computers for simple, low-cost data collection — product ordering, item picking, route accounting, shelf labelling and stock counts in retail, warehouses and healthcare.
They run the CipherLab Operating System (cOS) and can be programmed with the Forge Application Generator or Blaze C/BASIC compilers. The 8000 uses two AAA batteries and the 8001 a rechargeable 700 mAh Li-ion battery; both offer a linear imager or laser scanner, a backlit LCD and data upload over IrDA via cradle.
